St Michael’s is open for Sunday worship

10:00 Said Eucharist [Common Worship]        people with surnames beginning with the letters A to I welcome

11:15 Said Eucharist [Common Worship]        people with surnames J to Z welcome

Where a couple have different surnames, please come to the earlier service if one surname falls in that group

NB the 10:00 and 11:15 services are ‘identical’ – same liturgy; same president, same preacher. Only the make up of the congregation differs
.

  Face masks

The government’s new rules about wearing face masks in certain public places do not apply to churches.
However, the House of Bishops is strongly urging congregations to wear face masks

“We strongly advise that face coverings should be worn by all those attending a place of worship, including ministers, worshippers, staff, volunteers, contractors and visitors, where there may be other people present; remembering that they are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus COVID-19 and that they are not a replacement for physical  distancing and regular hand washing
.”

A prayer for all those affected by coronavirus

Keep us, good Lord,

under the shadow of your mercy.

Sustain and support the anxious,

be with those who care for the sick,

and lift up all who are brought low;

that we may find comfort

knowing that nothing can separate us from your love

in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen.

During this time, we will instead share Prayers, Readings and News via email, this website ansocial media. This weeks News and Service Sheet can be found here.
